Travel to find Xin Shalast

Desnus 24th, 4709 – I summoned the chest for the third time. We took out the supplies my father had put in and we put the rest of the dragon treasure in the chest sending it back to him. Rizzle with my help summon the mounts and we rode out into the wilderness. It was a hard ride and I’m sure we could not cover the ground we did without those mounts.

Desnus 25th, 4709 – Another hard day ride and a few hours from making camp we came upon two Earth Titans blocking our way. Andrian told them they should not mess with us but they said we would make a good stew for them. The battle began with Ducw charging one of the titans and Andrian backing him up almost blooding the creature. Some how the titan slammed it foot on the ground causing the ground to damage us. Ducw was able to weather this but the rest of us took damage. The other one got push back by Rizzle but just delay it from getting back in the battle to slam it foot down. It seemed good they could only do this attack once as we were able to weather their other attacks better. We killed one and when the other titan tried to run we were able to cut it down, too. They caused us many hurts and this cold weather I needed to heal everyone back up. We found a nice place to get out of the wind and had a quiet night.

Desnus 26the, 4709 – Another day in the mountains we seem to make good time and when we saw another creature we decided to out run it and with the phantom horses they could not catch us. Andrain had a bad day and night maybe with the mountain air being to thin. I cast my warmth ritual which help him some.

Desnus 27th, 4709 – The wind was strong this morning so I cast the warmth ritual on us all to help us with the ride. Once again we encounter a monster but were able to out run it. Not much protection but doing well to find a nice camp to get out of the wind.

Desnus 28th, 4709 – Andrian doing better as we head done but we have another climb to day. Shaleu is doing great find our way through the mountains. No trouble today.

Desnus 29th, 4709 – The wind was not bad to day and even was sunny most of the day. But had a few creatures we were able to out run. These mounts are great we ran into gravel but it did not slow them down just the creatures chasing us.

Desnus 30th, 4709 - Another nice day traveling and nothing to report made good time today.

Sarenith 1st, 4709 – Shaleu said we are now entering the Storval Plateau at mid morning. By noon a green dragon spotted us and started chasing us we were able to keep the same distance from it but we could not pull away from it. After a few hours of running we decided to fight the dragon so we split off in different direction to converge on whoever the dragon decided to attack. The dragon went after Ducw a big mistake as he was able to hurt the dragon taking some damage. Andrian was the first to arrive to assist Ducw and jumped on the dragon back causing more damage to the dragon. When we all got around the dragon the dragon use it breath against us getting most of us in the mist. The battle was going back and forth I was able to keep the fighter in the battle. The dragon saw it was losing the battle tried to fly away but Andrian or Shaleu was able to stop it from leaving and it ask for mercy. I agreed and Andrian, Ducw and Rizzle all wanted to kill it but I said it has surrender to us. Andrian came up with an idea that the dragon be our scout. The Dragon agreed and since it did I healed the dragon to show we will not kill it.

Sarenith 2nd, 4709 – Had a rough night sleeping with the dragon in our camp but nothing brother us that night or during the day as the dragon lead us to our goal. Andrian rode the dragon to be sure it did not run from us.

Sarenith 3rd, 4709 – Still watching the dragon and it did nothing again during the night. It is nice having the dragon it did chase down a creature for it food and came back to lead us. Not seeing to many creature at all and we are making good time.

Sarenith 4rd, 4709 – Still watching the dragon and it sleep all night. It went off again for food and return to continue leading us.

Sarenith 5th, 4709 – The dragon lead us for the final day as we reached the foothills. He could tell us nothing of value of what lies ahead. He decided that night to heal up from the rough ride through the mountains to get our strength back.

Sarenith 6th, 4709 – Set up our camp better since we are going to stay a few days. Shaleu went out hunting to just walk around again from all the riding we did. I summoned the chest and took out another two weeks of supplies my father had put in the chest. I left a note thanking him for all he done and to continue looking for notes from me. I also ask him to get more components for the phantom steed, to summon the rest, and endure ritual. I took some time to pray to Torag for guidance in our task ahead.

Sarenith 7th, 4709 – A nice day and once again Shaleu went out hunting and was able to get a couple of small animals to add to our dinner. It was good just to enjoy the day again. It was a good day of good humor and fun.

Sarenith 8th, 4709 – Our last day of rest and we will be heading up the mountain pass to find Karzoug the Runelord of Greed. We pack up our supplies to get ready for tomorrow track.

Sarenith 9th, 4709 – As we traveled on the mounts we would see disturbing visions of stange aberrations from the corner of our eyes but when we looked directly at it would have disappeared. It seems the barriers between the demi-plane world of Leng and our world is thin here. Rizzle told us that Leng is the meeting point of the plane of dreams and the plane of madness also know as the far.

Sarenith 10th, 4709 – We stop telling each other did you see that as when we looked nothing was there. This is a strange place and is quiet because the animals do not come here. The others are getting more on edge and letting his own wrath get the better of him. I continue to pray to Torag for strength to resist these sins.
