The Rumor of the False Cure

Abadius 13th-18th, 4709 – We continue the investigation in the rumors of a cure for the plague and finally cam up with a name. The person was Vendra Loaggri who ran the perfume boutique known as “Lavender’ Luxuriant Liniments”. We will be checking out the place tomorrow to see if she has a cure for the Bloodveil or not.

Abadius 19th, 4709 – After Andrian did a brief investigation and purchase a false product from the Lavendar’s Luxurient Limiments shop we came to the conclusion that this was a fraud cure. We went in to arrest Vendra Loaggri but she did not want to come peacefully. He had a brief scuffle with her and her two body guards. It came to a quick end when Rizzle blasted Vendra with a lightning spell causing her to surrender to us. At this point the two body guards stop fighting and ask to leave. I thought we should let them leave because they are hired to project her. Since she surrendered to us they are no longer needed for protection. But for some reason Andrian thought we should bring them in too. Unfortunately, Toka stood between the two thugs and freedom. To our surprise they attack Toka with their heavy chains knocking her unconscious. They then grab her and threaten to kill her if they were not allowed to leave. I still do not know why Andrian wanted to keep Toka with us but to think we could save her by attacking the two thugs was not right. He does not value her life but to let an unarm creature die because you did not want to let something go. If I knew we would die anyway I could do that but we did not know they would kill Toka if we let them go. I believe they just wanted to get out of this mess. Well they surrender to us again but we lost Toka when there was no reason he should of. We took them all back to the dungeon to wait their trial.
